This was a very small, enclosed garden that you could only enter through a small side gate or the lounge.  The owners had come from a large country garden, so this needed very different thinking.   We worked together with what was wanted in the space and how we could achieve it.  I think that it has become a beautiful courtyard garden that is enjoyed from both inside and out.  It has the feel of a country garden.  Especially with the pleached hedge at the back growing up to block the building next door.
